Product Guidance

Help people choose the right thing.

Choice is where most purchases stall. A customer with two options and one unanswered question does not buy either. Syncon One does what a good shop assistant does: works out what they need, shows them honestly, and answers the thing holding them back.

Search and filters are not advice.

A customer who does not know your range cannot filter their way to the right thing. They open four tabs, compare them badly, find one question nobody answers, and close all four.

What happens instead.

The conversation a knowledgeable person would have with them on the shop floor.

01

It asks what it is for

Not which category they want. What they are trying to achieve, which is what actually determines the right answer.

02

It narrows honestly

Two or three that genuinely fit, with the reason each one is on the list, rather than everything that matches a filter.

03

It compares like for like

Side by side on the things that matter to this customer, including where the cheaper one is the right choice.

04

It answers the blocker

Delivery, sizing, compatibility, returns, whether it will work with the thing they already own. The question that decides it.

05

It stays after the order

Where is it, can I change it, how does this part work. The same conversation, not a separate support channel.

06

It knows when to fetch someone

High value, unusual requirements, or a customer who simply wants a person before they commit.

Advice you would stand behind.

It recommends from what you actually sell, on the criteria you set, and it says so when nothing in the range is right. A confident wrong answer costs more than a returned order.

Comparing properly is what earns the sale.

Most sites make customers compare in browser tabs. When a business lays two options out clearly, including the case for the cheaper one, people trust it and decide faster.

A customer who is helped to choose rarely returns the thing they chose.

Returns are usually a failure of advice rather than a failure of product. People send back the thing that was never right for them.

What you are left with

Fewer abandoned decisions.

More customers reaching a choice they are confident in, and staying confident afterwards.
